Born to a cricketer-stockbroker and a dancer-actress, Candy Reid was destined to blend sport and storytelling. In 1996, while competing in a professional tennis tournament in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, she sat in her hotel room watching CNN—and had a revelation. Broadcasting would be her next chapter.

 

After earning her degree in the USA, Candy joined the global news network and never looked back. Her career has taken her across the world, shaping experiences and friendships beyond imagination.
